Pitchfork, Lancaster, PA (Amish series). 1968.
Silver print, the image measuring 9½x6⅛ inches (24.1x15.5 cm.), the mount 17x14 inches (43.2x35.6 cm.), with Tice's all-caps signature in pencil on mount recto, and the title and date also in pencil, on mount verso.

Tice began adding print dates circa 1973; this rare vintage print does not bear a print date, indicating that it was likely printed before 1973. The print also bears Tice's early capitalized signature. A rare work, a seeming homage to Grant Wood's iconic "American Gothic," 1930.
