Silver print, the image measuring 12⅝x9¾ inches (32.1x24.8 cm.), flush mounted, with Hurrell's signature (twice) and a notation in the artist's hand in ink, his credit stamp with the date and the notation "vintage print," also in ink, and the sitter's name (twice) in pencil in an unknown hand, on mount verso. 1932
The notation reads as follows: "This photograph was taken in the portrait gallery where I worked at MGM [Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer] studios in Culver City."
