Additional Details

"The King trusts that the Dowager Marchioness of Bath knows how much He interests Himself in whatever regards Her or any of Her Children . . . any step may be taken to take Sir John Thynne and of the harsh situation in which He is placed by a mere forgetfulness. . . . [P]erhaps a reelection may be necessary; but should an act of indemnity be required the King is most ready to consent to it."
Lord John Thynne was reelected to the House of Commons for Bath on 29 May 1805 after his seat was vacated due to voting inadvertently without having taken the required oaths.
