Etching and drypoint on cream wove paper, 1907-08. 275x197 mm; 10 7/8x7 3/4 inches, full margins. Signed and numbered 18/30 in pencil, lower margin. Published by Maeght, Paris. A brilliant, richly-inked impression, with all the fine lines and details distinct and with no sign of wear.

The artist's first print. After an initial printing of only several trial proofs in 1907-8, Maeght published an edition of 25 impressions on Auvergne and 30 impressions on Rives in 1953. Vallier 1.
