In this French poster for England's Southern Railway, Favre takes a page out of A.M. Cassandre's typographic playbook, arraying most of the text along the perimeter of the poster. The Art Deco image is austere and to the point; a navigation compass divider is used to show "the shortest route" between London and Paris.
