An African in red and green is sitting atop a large pile of yellow crates, surrounded by green, purple, brown, yellow and orange containers. Promoting an exposition of refridgeration, packaging and related industries, Lepape depicts a colorful cornucopia of produce and products unloaded off a ship and waiting for distribution by train. This is a very early poster by Lepape who went on to become one of the great Art Deco illustrators.
