Additional Details

Gerstner's theories of color psychology are very detailed and specific. This series of Color Sounds, nodding to the ideas of Josef Albers and Le Corbusier, relate to geometric forms that are shaded with metrical regularity. The gradations show polarities of color and form which are intended to produce "emotional, psychologically interpretable surprises."
