The Festival of Arts Shiraz-Persepolis was an annual gathering of international avant-garde performances held in Iran between 1967-1977. For the 1972 edition, lighting designer Richard Nelson collaborated with the Merce Cunningham Dance Company to create a program including music by John Cage and artistic contributions from Andy Warhol and Jasper Johns. with - Souvenir cloth-bound program with text in English and Persian featuring illustrations for the Cunningham evening and more.
