In 2011 Dr. Gieve Patel had his second exhibition at Bose Patia, New York. The exhibition, titled "Wells Clouds Skulls," focused on the artist's life-long fascination with wells. While looking into a well, seeing clouds in the reflection and also the reflection of oneself, the artist delves into the subject of mortality. Though this drawing is not dated it is possibly created circa 2011 in connection to the body of work made for the Bose Patia show.
