The caption reads, "Jack Kerouac in Tanger garden of Villa Mouneria 1957, where he lived upstairs from William Seward Burroughs, and began typing up the first assembled manuscripts of Burroughs' Naked Lunch. On the Road was to be published that year, Jack had already written a dozen books up to Part I Desolation Angels. Allen Ginsberg".
Accompanied by a letter from Ginsberg's associate, Bob Rosenthal, who writes, "Allen says he worked very hard and made these captions the most complete ever."
