Neal Cassady (1926-1968) was a prominent member of the Beat Generation, and the inspiration for Jack Kerouac's character of Dean Moriarty in his groundbreaking classic, On The Road.

Timothy Leary (1920-1996) was an American psychologist and writer known for advocating the use of psychedelic drugs. Leary conducted experiments with Psilocybin mushrooms under the Harvard Psilocybin Project while LSD and psychedelic mushrooms were legal in the United States.
