Additional Details

The Porto di Ripetta was a port in the city of Rome, roughly across the River Tiber from the . This was the port to alight for boats traveling downriver, toward the sea. The Ponte Cavour was contracted across the Tiber and opened in 1901, at which point the Porto di Ripetta was demolished.
