Easter Procession before the Chiesa di San Zaccaria, Venice.

Etching and engraving, circa 1765. 440x560 mm; 17 3/8x22 inches. Coat-of-arms watermark. Trimmed on or inside the plate mark, with the entire composition and the text below preserved. A very good impression.

San Zaccaria was visited annually at Easter by the Doge in a celebration which included the presentation of the cornu or ducal cap.
