GLOVER, CLEVELAND (active late 1960s-70s) Group of 144 photographs of (mostly) African American women in the Bay Area, with a range of subjects, including provocative images of women lying on their beds or posing on stools or car hoods, fashion images, cotillon and party photographs, portraits of administrators and corporate executives, pictures in people's homes, couples, and families. Silver prints, most are 8x10 inches (20.3x25.4 cm.), and the reverse, and 47 are 6 1/2x4 1/2 inches (16.5x11.4 cm.), and the reverse, several with Glover's hand stamp or penciled notations on verso; with about 15 prints of Caucasian and Asian women and guys.
