The number "5" is written in the upper right-hand corner. The notes read: "Nitrogen 35 lb. reducing valve gas flow" with "45 lbs" written at the bottom of the valve drawing and "35 lbs" written on the right side. This component of Goddard's rocket was designed to reduce the pressure of nitrogen gas to 35 pounds per square inch and was part of the overall pressurization system for the oxygen and gasoline tanks of the Goddard rocket.
