The couple Honegger-Lavater was active in Zurich around 1950. Two of their posters, from 1948 and 1951, are reproduced In 50 Years of Swiss Poster<>, the major reference work published by the federal department of home affairs. Here, for a photo and movie exhibition, they have created a clever photo-montage with clear, well dispatched typography and an unusually light, bright color scheme. In this design there is wit and fantasy which, more often than not, is lacking with the rigid use of montage.
