Additional Details

the second scarcest of gorey's prints. Of the 50 prints intended for the edition, only 17 were actually pulled and signed by Gorey as the original plate was damaged. The image, in variously textured shades of grey, shows a ghosted image of a leaping Figbash toward a star-like object along the upper portion of the plate, with the type "Au Secours" (Help) lettered backwards amidst an image of a flower in the foreground below. It is the second rarest of all Gorey's prints after "Montage of Found Objects in Color" of which only 9 of its inteded 50 prints were created and signed.
