Rust, cream, and tan floral patterned cloth. 320x205 mm; 12 1/2x8 inches, trunk to rump measurement. Very good condition. Created for The Woods Hole Theatre Company presentation "Stuffed Elephants: An Entertainment by Edward Gorey. Music by Paul Mascott" which ran from August-September 1990. Accompanied by the handbill and postcard, as well as a photograph of Gorey making the elephant with the production's publicist Marilyn Rosen standing by him, along with a Typed Letter Signed by her recalling working with Gorey on the project.
