An interesting whim of Gorey's, these broadsides have bold clip-art style graphics reminiscent of Max Ernst (a favorite artist of his) and contain randomly positioned lists of words beginning with each letter of the alphabet, lending them a sort of Beat poetry and very Steampunk sensibility. In typical Gorey fashion, the numbering was assigned in no logical order.
