First edition, one of 250 unnumbered copies, presentation copy, inscribed: "For Osbert with Christmas greetings from Graham." The recipient is thought to be Sir Osbert Lancaster, the noted cartoonist and artist who designed the wrapper for and contributed to Greene's magazine Night and Day.
