Signed on the mount below the image, and again on the verso after inscription to pianist Johanna von Seemann, in German: "with thanks and great esteem." 5 1/2x4 inches (image), 6 1/2x4 1/4 inches overall; recto signature written over photographer's imprint, faint scattered foxing to image, remnants of prior mounting at upper and lower edges verso, minor scattered abrasions verso.
