Grosz's most important work, his critique of Weimar Germany, was confiscated by order of the district court of Charlottenburg on April 25, 1923. In a court case the following year, Grosz and Malik were fined, and 17 of the 84 drawings and 5 of the 6 watercolor reproductions were ordered to be removed from the work--Dückers, page 207ff.
