Number one of only twelve copies of Grosz's own artist's limited edition, with his manuscript colophon and containing an original watercolor and the hand-colored plates. Signed in ink beneath watercolor and frontispiece and warmly Inscribed to Eleanor and Seymour (Berkson): "to remember his prophetic talk about world politics. With love to you both from George." Undated. Berkson, publisher of the New York Journal-American, was active in civic causes. Eleanor was a major figure in the American fashion industry and founded such major annual events as New York Fashion Week, The Met Gala, among others.
