Autograph Letter Signed, "H Grotius," to Ludwig Camerarius, in Latin, acknowledging receipt of his letter concerning Burrweiler, praising the deceased King of Sweden Gustavus Adolphus, and expressing hope that he would be able to serve him in the future. 1/4 page, folio, with integral address leaf; loss at right and upper edges repaired with paper verso (not affecting text), loss to upper portion of address panel repaired with paper verso, letter "S" stamped in blue ink at upper right recto, marginal discoloration from prior matting, faint scattered foxing.
