Condition B: extensive replaced losses, repaired tears, creases and overpainting in margins; repaired tear at top edge, through upper image; creases in image.

Austrian-born Krollmann came to the United States in 1923, settling in Minneapolis where he taught at the Minneapolis Institute of Art. He designed a series of posters for the Northern Pacific Railroad using images "that displayed a strong sense of modeling and a richness of color" (Zega p. 83).
