Founded in 1895, the Royal Hungarian River and Sea Navigation Company (MFTR) operated boats up and down the Danube river, connecting some of Europe's great cities. Here, her route map is depicted across the letters that make up the Hungarian acronym of her name. Konecsni was a prolific designer of posters, who worked in both the tourism and commercial fields. His images are always marked by a strong Art Deco sensibility.
