2) Ellen Glasgow's Virginia, Garden City: Doubleday, Page & Co., 1913, binding stained.

3) Hervey White's When Eve was not Created, Boston: Small, Maynard & Co., 1901, with slip tipped in under Gilman's signature, "With the Compliments of the Author," and notes in CPG's hand inside back board, likely referring to the publication of one of her books (she worked with the same publisher), "About this size & quality but with paper cover, gilt boards from mss. 5000" possibly referring to Concerning Children, and her 225 Riverside Drive address; binding discolored, shaken, scattered stains.

4) an odd volume of an English translation of the Arabian Nights, half leather.
