Gordon Cooper's Mercury Spacecraft blueprint. A single sheet approximately 17x22 inches, folded and hole punched to fit in one of Cooper's Mercury notebooks. Two rubber stamp notations read: "Reference, July 15, 1959, Only" and "Reference Copy ... Date issued" 7-15-59 added in manuscript. The blueprint illustrates the Automatic Reaction Controls within the Mercury capsule including rocket engine thrust chambers, lines, valves, tank, pressure regulator, and pressurization bottle.
