H. Richardson Cremer was a charter member of the Photographic Society of America and was a president of the Brooklyn Institute of Arts, Photography Department (now the Brooklyn Museum). Being involved in photography circles, Cremer met and photographed other artists, including Margaret Bourke-White, pictured here with her camera.
