After the success of the first Le Mans race, l'Automobile Clud de l'Ouest built a large grandstand with galleries for the press. This was the second of two posters Volodimer designed for the race in 1924, here, capturing a different element of the event, the elegant night-time dancing beneath fireworks next to the track. It shows how in its early years Le Mans was as much about the festivities surrounding the race as the speeding cars themselves.
