H.A.G. BERLIN. 1907.
26x37 Hollerbaum & Schmidt, Berlin.
Condition A-: minor tears and creasing in margins.
H.A.G. was a property developer in Berlin, and this small poster might be an enlargement of one their advertising cards. On the left side of the poster is an image of a villa, partially hidden by trees, contained within an oval, below which is the name of the company and the date of the project. The right side of the poster is empty, save for the slogan, "the new project just came out." Although not very visually exciting, this lay-out is in fact a perfect example of the application of sachs plakat design to a concept more complicated than an actual product. This poster was first prined in 1906, and then again in 1907.
