A map of the island Hokkaido with the Hakodate Dock Co. in the sky above two stylized funnels (reminiscent of the classic French Art Deco travel posters.) The ship-building Hakodate Dock Company was founded in 1896 and continues in operation through the present day. This poster bears an ink stamp "Loaned by Central Outdoor Advertising Agency Co. Inc., Cleveland, Ohio." It is unknown if this poster was ever realized.
