Trusty on a Mule, 206x257 mm; 8 1/8x10 1/8 inches, wide margins * Returning Home, 254x203 mm; 10x8 inches, wide margins. Both on thin imitation Japan paper, circa 1935. Both later impressions, printed circa 1970. Both signed and titled in pencil, lower margin.
These two proofs are from Woodruff's Atlanta Period series of linoleum cuts, which he made while teaching at Spelman College from 1931-46.
