This limited ediition cel (of 200) features a dramatic scene of all of the show's main protagonists: Jonny, Race Bannon, Hadji, Dr. Benton Quest, and the dog Bandit, closely styled after their appearance in the original 1960s series.
The 1964 adventure series Jonny Quest, conceived and designed by illustrator Doud Wildey, marked a dramatic departure from Hanna Babera's previous more "cartoony" output. It was highly influential on animated series that followed, and is fondly remembered by many who grew up watching it.
The creative team of Joe Barbera (1911-2006) and Bill Hanna (1910-2001) first collaborated at MGM, where they co-created Tom and Jerry. During their long tenure at MGM and later through their eponymous studio, the duo produced countless animated series and characters which remain fixtures in public consciousness today.
Condition: Background print has some sun fading from being matted previously, but it does not distract significantly from the image.
