Stenzel was a movie and television director who made a few art films like this award-winning one dedicated to Marcel Duchamp. The film's title,"C'est la vie Rrose" is play on one of Duchamp's pseudonyms, Rrose Selavy. The poster is a little gem for Duchamp lovers; the white shape of a woman's body with her pubis demarcated by a black king from a chess set, reminds the viewer that Duchamp was a Grandmaster who wrote books on the game.
