Springinklee (1495-1540) was a follower of Albrecht Dürer. He was an accomplished book illustrator and assisted Dürer with numerous projects including the monumental 192-panel woodcut triumphal arch created for Emperor Maximilian I in the late 1510s. New Hollstein 271.
