second and best edition. With two important maps by Emanuel Bowen, of which, "A Complete Map of the Southern Continent", is the first English map of Australia, and "A New Map of Georgia, with Part of Carolina, Florida and Louisiana" is a superb detailed map of the Southeast, unusual as such for its time.

In volume two, the pagination skips from 924 to 927, and although this is not accounted for in any of the main bibliographies (the collations therein are overly broad), the catchword and signature markings suggests it is complete.
