a rich and telling collection of items from the family collection passed down through close family friends, the Baileys, who owned the farm where the Sewell family lived, and where Helen grew up and described as among her strongest artistic influences.

Highlights of this collection by the famed illustrator of over 60 books including The Cruise of the Little Dipper and several for the Little House series includes: 4 black & brown ink and wash drawings signed and captioned by Sewell, 3 containing Harper & Brothers stamp on verso from "Little House on the Prairie."
