Chiaroscuro woodcut printed in ochre, dark olive green and black on cream laid paper, circa 1597-1600. 114x144 mm; 4 1/2x5 5/8 inches. Second state (of 2). Trimmed on the black border line with most of the border line preserved all around. A superb impression of this extremely scarce woodcut, with strong colors and with relief from the wood block showing on the verso.
