Condition B+: repaired tears and abrasions in upper right image; creases and printer's creases in margins and image. Matted and framed. L'Artisan Moderne was a chain of interior design stores owned by Andre Marty. He was "a publisher and dealer, often mentioned as an admirer of Lautrec's graphics. He was also the publisher of L'Estampe Originale" (Adriani p. 99). This image, more of an in-joke with Lautrec and his friends, is a parody of eighteenth century French boudoir prints and the trope of a doctor's visit to an unwell woman.
