HENRI-EDMOND CROSS
Les Champs Élysées.

Color lithograph on Chine volant, 1897. 203x262 mm; 8x10 1/4 inches, full margins. Edition of 1100. A very good impression with strong colors and the full printed text lower left as published in Pan.

Cross (1856-1910), along with Georges Seurat and Paul Signac (see lots 110-114), was one of the best known practitioners of Pointilism, an artistic style prevalent in France during the last two decades of the 19th century.
