An excellent photomontage of Swissair's HB-ILA (a Douglas DC-4) soaring past "30 Rock," in New York City's Rockefeller Center. The company began making regular flights to New York in 1947 and purchased two DC-6Bs in 1951. This poster exists in several variants including an earlier version with the Swissair logo in a different type face. The logo used on this poster was designed by Ruedi Bircher in the 1950s.
