An archive of press photographs from India (more than 80), Vietnam (9), and Cyprus (2). A vast archive of Gill's work in India, including street scenes, portraits, and architecture, as well as some imagery from the Vietnam War (where he did three tours), and Cypress. Gill's long career included assignments in 92 countries (primarily with Chicago newspapers). While with the Chicago Sun Times he received more than 60 awards, including Overseas Press Club Awards for coverage in locations in this group of work. He also made documentary films, one titled War with Many Faces about the Vietnam War, which won a television Emmy. Silver prints, the images measuring 8x13½ to 15¾x11 inches (20.3x34.3 to 40x27.9 cm.), and the reverse, with a combination of Gill's credit stamps, date stamps, press stamps, captions in ink, and press clippings on verso. 1965-73

The photographs from India are dated 1966-68. The Vietnam photographs are dated 1965-73. The Cyprus images are dated 1967.
