Condition A-: minor tear at bottom edge; minor creases in margins and image; pencil notations in bottom margin. Hinged to mat at top edge. Paper. "The striking colors and strong outlines of Lawrence's poster design have an obvious connection to the Arts and Crafts Movement and especially to the design of ceramic tiles of the period . . . it is interesting to note the tension Lawrence creates by having the sail and the bow break the border, which in all other instances contains the image" (Virginia p. 69).
