Hilda Cowham worked for the Underground between 1913 and 1915. The London Transport Museum website explains that she was "one of the first women artists to contribute to 'Punch' magazine. She also contributed to The Graphic, The Sketch and many other periodicals and books. She often painted landscapes and domestic scenes. She also produced designs for Shelly China and wrote a number of children's stories." Not in the London Transport Museum Collection. rare
