Hillers in the field with his photographic equipment, Aquarius Plateau, Utah Territory. Oversized stereoview of Hillers, who is incorrectly identified as William Henry Jackson below the image area. Albumen prints, each measuring 4 3/8x3 inches (11.1x7.6 cm.), on the original U.S. Geological Powell Survey mount measuring 4 1/2x7 inches (11.4x17.8 cm.), and a secondary later mount, with the incorrect caption on that mount recto, and with various notations, labels, and stamps on mount verso. Circa 1872
