The wife of the photographer Jean-Pierre Sudre and a photographer herself, Claudine printed a portfolio of Bayard's early photography from the original paper negatives at the Société Française de Photographie. Jean-Pierre, who was an influential teacher and masterful technician, and Claudine opened a research center named the Association for Professional Training and Research in Photography, where students could spend months learning.
