Additional Details

An accomplished group of designs, likely intended for fabrics, papers, and interior design. Hoffmann, best known for his founding role in the Wiener Werkstätte and Vienna Secession, was a also a dedicated instructor at the school (now known as the University of Applied Arts, Vienna). Many of his students worked on realized projects and commissions for which Hoffmann was hired, though it is not known if these designs by Vogelgesang were among them.
