Folio, 276x196 mm, 18th-century 1/4 sheep, rebacked with tan leather; margins trimmed entering some sidenotes and headlines, contents toned with occasional marginal soiling and dampstaining, Volume 1 preliminaries rehinged, hole through ¶2-3 affecting a few words, worming in blank upper inner corner of gatherings f through h, last 3 index leaves torn in outer margin affecting text with last leaf mounted, first several leaves after title in Volume 2 torn at top and restored with text loss, lower outer corner off ²2K5, ²2M2, ²2O3, 3A4, 3I1, and 3Z6 and lower margin off 4H5 affecting text, double-page plan torn along fore edges and restored with slight image loss, hole through N² in index causing text loss.
