Early inscription in Greek on front free endpaper of Jacobus [second name illegible] and his companions. [Venice: Aldus Manutius, not before 31 October 1504]
first aldine edition, the first of 2 volumes forming the second edition of the works of Homer after the 1488 first edition in the original Greek.
